Private dining

Fine dining, on your own ground

A multi-course dinner somewhere that belongs to you. At home, in a canal house or at a private venue.

How it differs from a restaurant

No other tables, no closing time, no menu to choose from. The menu is written for this group and you set the pace yourselves.

The chef is in the same room. That makes an evening more personal than any restaurant can.

Fully taken care of

We bring the kitchen, the service and the glassware, and clear everything away again. With a matching wine pairing on request.

For larger groups we set long tables and take care of the table settings too.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a private chef at home?

In practice, very little. Private chef usually means cooking in someone’s home; we also use private dining for private venues and larger groups.

How many courses is usual?

Four to seven. More is possible, in which case the courses get smaller so the evening does not become heavy.

Can you find a venue too?

We are happy to help. We work regularly at unusual places in Amsterdam and know how to get into them.

Is service staff included?

For private dining, yes. How many people we bring depends on the guest count and the shape of the evening.
