Walking dinners
Small plates, brought to you
No buffet, no queue. A new dish arriving each time, while everyone stays on their feet and keeps talking.

Why it works
A seated dinner stops an evening in its tracks. A buffet creates a queue and cold food. A walking dinner does neither: the dishes come to the guests, in waves, hot and cold alternating.
Everyone keeps moving. Ideal when people are meant to meet each other.
Luxurious but informal
Small plates does not mean small ambition. It is the same level as a sit-down dinner, just on a plate you can hold in one hand.
Count on six to ten waves for a proper evening meal.
Where it fits
Networking receptions, weddings where the dance floor should not wait too long, and company parties at venues where two hundred chairs were never going to fit.

Frequently asked questions
How many dishes make a full meal?
Six to ten waves replace a three-course dinner. For drinks with something to eat, three to five is enough.
Will there be enough for everyone?
Yes. We count per person, not per tray, and the service team keeps track of who has not been served yet.
Is there anywhere for guests to sit?
We suggest seating for about a third of the guests, plus high tables. That way people can sit down without the dinner grinding to a halt.
Does a walking dinner work outdoors?
Very well, as long as there is a plan B. We will think with you about marquees and heating.
